Selig Will Not Ban Bonds...But He Should

Allan H. (Bud) Selig has said that he will not ban Bonds from baseball. Of course Bud Selig will not stand up and take a stand; he is a spineless coward. You can blame all of the players who took steroids for ruining baseball, but do not forget about ole Bud. He was the one who swept all of it under the rug when it was happening. He refuses to simply put his foot down and show a little backbone.

Barry Bonds and John Rocker, along with other players, failed drug tests over the span of their careers and what did baseball do? What did Selig do? Nothing. They allowed them to continue breaking the rules and use illegal drugs.

I do not know about you, but in my eyes, using illegal drugs is worse than betting on baseball, but Pete Rose remains banned from the game while drug users, i.e. Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, and so on, are allowed to be a part of the sport in which they corrupted, while Selig sits back and does nothing.

Focus on the players who cheated all you want, but Bud Selig allowed it to go on all those years, so when blaming people for baseball's corruption, do not forget about Allan H. Selig.
