90 Minutes in Heaven

I just started reading a book called, "90 Minutes in Heaven," which is about a man named, Don Piper, who was in a terrible car accident and was actually pronounced dead at the scene when paramedics arrived minutes later. When Don died, he went to heaven and in his book he describes what he saw.

Meanwhile back at the crash site, a minister was told by God to get in the car and pray for Piper, who was badly mangled as a result of being hit head on. The minister crawled into the compacted car and sat behind Piper, the only part of the car he could fit in, praying and singing hymns. An hour and a half after Piper was pronounced dead, he began singing with the minister. Minutes later, he was rushed to the hospital and eventually lived to tell about it.

As a religious person, I have goosebumps just writing about it. I am only a few chapters in, but I am already finding the book very powerful. I recommend it for religious people as well as skeptics. I am sure that the more I read it, the more I will have to say about it. Until next time...
